Elementary Camp

Staff Requirements at Sisseton


The Sisseton Elementary Camp was started in 2008. The camp is located on the Lake Traverse Reservation in North East South Dakota. The camp is held at the Good Will Presbyterian Church in Agency Village, SD.


  • Camp staff must have finished 9th grade by the end of the     current school year.

  • Camp staff will be a mixture of high school, college and adult     volunteers. We strive to have a mixture of all age groups.

  • Some background with children is important as camp staff     members need to be comfortable around children and     interested in forming relationships with campers and their     families.

  • Living arrangements will be in a local motels with 2 persons to     a room unless special arrangements are made.

  • Staff members need not be a member of a Presbyterian     church to apply for staff positions at any of the Hau Kola     Learning Camps.
